About

Here be the home of Mark Johnson!

3D artist, learning sketch artist and painter. I also moonlight as a website developer and application programmer.

When I’m not doing all that I’m cycling, or spending time with my beautiful wife and three kids.

I’m also an active member of my local church and help my wife with her worthy duties in the Christians Against Poverty (CAP) (click for link)

Things I’d like to do before I die:

  • Create a complete computer game
  • Work on a 3D movie
  • Write a Novel
  • Visit New Zealand, Australia, most of the USA, and go back to Egypt.
  • Meet Ryan Church(artist see my links page), Terry Pratchett and Jesus (be cool to know the man before I die ;) ).
  • Own a Jaguar (the car not the cat :) )
  • See my kids become millionaires and put me and my wife in a home together. One with a view, maybe a porch, so we can sit on it and throw walking sticks at kids on mopeds.

Thanks for stopping by,

Mark (Dusty)

    Dear Mark,
First of all, congratulations for your talent.
    That is funny!
I bought my first tablet and I felt me frustrate for not achieving to draw almost nothing. I imagined that somebody could had passed for the same problem and searched on Google and I found your website.
It is being very useful to me for learn to use this fantastic tool. I confess that I felt exactly as you described in your tutorial.
I’m 50 years old but I love to learn new things. I work with Autocad and never made any artistic drawing. It’s time to learn.
Thanks very much and I wish a lot of success for you

  • Hey no problem Swoop. We all started somewhere, and when I stumbled upon your speed painting of a Sci Fi City all those years ago, you set me on the path to become a digital painter.

So thanks man, I mean that!! :)
